Interesting Postcard

      I picked the postcard "An Unusual Aerial View of the City of Key West". This postcard has a picture of a view of some of Key West and it instantly brought beautiful images back into my mind of the aerial view of Palm Island. This island is a place that i have been visiting for around eleven years now. Some of the best memories have been made here, as well as some of the worst. I remember taking my nieces for the first time to catch some of their first fish, I also remember breaking my leg and having to be rushed off an island in an ambulance. It took so long going over the ferry, it was miserable. Definitely not one of my favorite memories. The picture also makes me think of all the dolphins, manatees, tropical birds, and turtles I've seen. Palm Island has definitely contributed to my love for all things marine, so much so that my major is marine biology. The post card just brings back so many amazing memories, like every time I've gone diving. It is like being in an entirely different world and you have it all to yourself. I guess you could say I have a lot of love for anything that is related to the ocean. That is definitely what drew me to this card, the familiarity of it and all the detailed images that just keep coming back to my mind when i see it. The beautiful blue waters and the white sand that seem so simplistic but still so extraordinary will always be something that draws me in,  even if it is in a card and not in real life.
